INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup quinoa, rinsed well and drained well
  • 2 cups low-fat milk, plus more for serving
  • 3 packets of Nektar Honey Crystals®
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus more for serving
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1⁄2 cup raisins

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place quinoa, milk, Nektar Honey Crystals®, cinnamon and vanilla in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Stir a few times during cooking.
  2. Let stand about 5 minutes and serve with additional milk, cinnamon, walnuts and raisins.
  3. You can make a batch ahead of time and reheat with extra milk before adding toppings.
